I am a self-taught artist who finds beauty in the natural world and with a touch of creative whimsy, transforms those sights into a distinctive personal style. I work in many mediums, including oil paint, watercolor, gouache, woodburning, clay, sterling silver/jewelry, and crochet. I plan to keep adding new pieces as time goes on.

You might wonder where the name OpalizedPeacock came from: I fell in love with crystals and semi-precious stones—especially opal—whose shifting, luminous colors have fascinated me since I first saw them, and the peacock, with its breathtaking palette, has long been my favorite animal.

Fun fact: when bones are found in opal-forming conditions they can become opalized, with opal replacing the bone structure—a natural wonder that inspired the OpalizedPeacock name.
